The Votes are In

So I just got off the phone with Randy Schipper, who won Doug Mahn's seat in yesterday's election. I congratulated him and wished him all the best. In other news, George Jacob retained his seat on the board.

It was a learning experience, to say the least. Getting in is easy...getting ON is something completely different. The costs of printing up flyers, the time needed to campaign, the cost of yard signs...sheesh! I'll know next time - yes, there will be a next time - what needs to be done in order to run an effective campaign. (read: War Chest)

Here are the final results...I'm just glad I beat the write in candidate!

Note: Voter turnout was roughly 12%, which is high for a school election.
Note 2: Please refer to the number of UNDERvotes. Interesting strategy...Vote for me, but don't vote for anyone else.
