100 Yard Breaststroke Smackdown!

This is my 13 year old daughter swimming for her middle school team last week. At this point, she's crushin' the competition in the 100 yard breaststroke. She finished in 1:13 and some change.

I quit racing her when she turned nine...

A New Beginning?

I am SOOOOO glad the election season is over. You’ve probably noticed – it’s been awhile since my last post. I’ve been in detox since the 8th. I’m starting to feel much better.

I have no commentary on the outcome – that speaks for itself. I predict, however, the Demopublicans will do things the same way the Republocrats have done. Four years from now, you won’t even know there was an election that transferred “power” to the other side.

A sad statement, for sure…

I'm a little curious of the timing of this announcement, but I'll let you be the judge. November 10th....hmmm...perfect. The day before we celebrate Veteran's Day in the United States - we'll celebrate the enrichment of yet another communist country.

Our forefathers would be so proud!

So when I hear politicians talk about the American worker, are they talking about workers here in the US, or those who happen to be working for American companies on foreign soil? You don't read too many announcements like these for groundbreaking here in the states...there's something wrong with that, isn't there?

It's just a thought...

The Hits, They Just Keep a Comin'

For the Michigan's Governor's race, it appears Dicky D is borrowing from John Kerry's playbook. We'll call it "Swift Coaches for Truthiness"

Last week, Rush Limbaugh said something stupid and was taken out of context and the Demopublicans just wouldn't let it go. I think the news cycle lasted about 6 days. This week, Kerry says something stupid and is vilified by the Republocrats for what he claims was a botched joke. Is this nothing more than the two-headed monster simply discovering itself in the mirror?

Prediction: Republocrats are in big, BIG trouble...But don't expect things to change. It's like taking an Ex Lax box and slapping a Correctol sticker on the front...It'll still have the same end result.
